In the first quarter of 2021, Brazil's Android users showed their preferences in Film & Television apps, with varying trends in downloads, revenue, and weekly active users. Data provided by Sensor Tower gives us a closer look at the performance of these top applications.

Globoplay: Assista ao BBB 24!, a local giant in streaming, demonstrated substantial growth over the quarter, with downloads peaking at nearly 500K in early February and weekly active users reaching over 10M in the same period. The app's revenue also saw an upward trend, finishing strong with over $200K at the end of March.

Disney+, a relatively new contender in the market, started the quarter with downloads over 1M but experienced a gradual decrease, settling around 289K by the end of March. Despite this, the app's revenue remained somewhat consistent, with a notable spike to around $140K in early March. The weekly active users showed a slight decline, ending the quarter at around 2.35M.

Crunchyroll maintained a steady presence among anime enthusiasts. The app's revenue displayed an overall positive trajectory, concluding the quarter with over $40K. Downloads, however, saw a decrease from 173K at the beginning of the period to 92K at the end. Active users remained above 1M throughout the quarter, with a peak of around 1.2M in early February.

Downloads had a notable jump to over 28K in mid-February, while active users showed a gradual increase, reaching over 355K by the quarter's end.
